The police here in Worcester, MA are professional and ethics in carrying out their duties. I have observed their handling of domestic strife with sensitivity and strength. With fewer police family emergencies will certainly result in tragedy. current events prove we need more police.
Had to call for an ambulance Sunday, 1st one here was a police man. Never thought twice, came right in, gave me oxygen, asked all the questions, and he really cared. How lucky am I and thank you.
The Franklin Police Department dresses up around Halloween and hands out candy to the kids. They also allow the kids to tour the facility. They are an integral part of our community and we love our men in blue!

Given the sad state of affairs today towards our police, I was beyond thrilled to see this billboard in the city!! I completely support our men and women in blue!! They risk their lives EVERY day for us! Thank you for all that you do!! We need to have more people standing up for police!! I would love to put a sign on my lawn! Send it my way!!
I have not had any experience with police other than a ticket. However, I am appalled by the current state of affairs towards our police. They put their life on the line EVERY day. I support our men and women in blue!! We need more people to come out for them!
I lived in Lynn Mass and was in a bad relationship. Needless to say I had cops at my house all the time. My ex husband is a drug addict and abusive. I found out years later that one of the officers that use to come to the house would drive by my house on his shifts to make sure I was okay. I am beyond blessed that someone who didn't know me, cared so much. I back the Blue!! THANK YOU all so much for doing what you do
My son is a police detective in Pepperell, MA. His dream since he was 4 years old was to be a police officer. He worked really hard to get there, and it makes me sick to see the generalized perception that ALL police officers are bad. He is such a good person and really wants to help people.
He has 3 young children who are so proud of him. It makes me really sad that someone may make them feel less proud, because of the current environment.

When my family member ODed to a laced cartridge of THC, a police officer came and saved my family member. Without him being there in a matter of minutes my family member could have died. I don’t believe a psychologist could have saved him from an overdose.
Former special officer in the City of Boston working in the projects. Always felt respected and we need to stand strong and fight this together.

Growing up in Worcester, police have been very helpful to my family! I remember once, when I was about 10 or 11, my mother and I got in an argument, and I pulled the very stereotypical move of slamming my bedroom door. As a response my mom called the Worcester police on me to make a "noise complaint" and set me straight. Two boys in blue came to my house and, as I stood in front of them crying out of fear and confusion, they screamed at me as they threatened to "throw me under the key," and told me if I "wanted to act tough," I should "stop crying like a baby." So grateful for the WPD taking the time to go the extra mile to teach me a lesson when I was just a dumb kid who didn't know any better yet. Even though I was terrified in the moment, that ended up being one of the best learning experiences of my young life!

My 10 year old son encountered a wasp nest while walking home from school one day, was stung 6 times, dropped his backpack and trumpet and ran. A Shrewsbury police officer later retrieved his belongings, was stung several times himself(!), and delivered to our home. A lifetime memory for us, probably just another day on the job for the officer.

We should be OVER funding the police right now. These are the people protecting us, answering ours calls and there when we need them.
The police department in our city is fantastic. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Just knowing that if I ever need a police officer that they are there makes me feel safe. Down with Democrat leaders, they need to be voted out.
It is a disgrace that anyone can assault a police officer in anyway. We need more laws to make this criminal with mandatory jail time. It starts with throwing water, when did that become acceptable?
I love and respect the blue! Be safe out there, and thank you for being there and protecting us.

Being a police officer used to be a thankful profession. I have young siblings that grew up with goals, aspirations and heart to be a police officer, because I've seen how that has diminished due to human beings just loosing sight and respect of just doing the right thing, unfortunately it is not a thankful job anymore. I begged my brothers not to be cops because I felt they deserved more and didn't need the underappreciated career that puts there life on the line every day, so thankfully there are still souls there that have the bravery and heart to protect and serve our community's, so thank you to all that keep our communities safe...And shame on those who think defunding our protectors is going to make us safer. In this crazy time they need us to defend them more than anything not to defund them, so thank you again to all the brave hearted police officers that make us able to sleep at night.

Thank you for the sacrifices you make each and everyday! We will never allow a few bad apples to disgrace the true hero's of our communities! It's time for everyone to stand up for the truth and what's right!
Because all of my contact with the Police in Worcester as a young child , I wanted to dedicate my career toward a helping profession. I chose Elementary Teaching to reach the next generation in a positive way. To prepare children to adequately meet their goals and obligations of our future generation.
My husband and brother in law are Police officers for OPD. Our youngest daughter aspires to be one....God Bless all our officers in Blue...we love you, we need you and we respect you!
One recent experience is when my senior daughter wanted to put together a parade through town for the senior class. Not only did the officers scheduled jump at the idea, several officers volunteered their time to help with traffic, and to escort the senior class through our town!
Thank you!
I was a pedestrian that was hit by a car last year. The response from the Shrewsbury police was fantastic and their efforts in prosecuting the driver were greatly appreciated. One of the police officers even stopped by the hospital to check on me!
Years ago, when I was a child a police officer carried me out of the house after I was abused by the hands of my own father. He was calm and seemed to be genuinely concerned with what took place. I am forever grateful and I wish I knew his name!
He was an officer for the Manatee County Police Department. #BackTheBlue

In my line of work as a first responder (EMT) and professional security manager I work very closely with the Framingham Police. They have been nothing but fantastic to work with.
I am a firefighter and I work closely with the police. They are at all our calls and we all have each other’s back.
I had the amazing experience to work with the Houston Police Department, Narcotics Division, while assigned from the USAF as part of a drug interdiction program in the early 90's. My brother is a State Trooper in Maine and I fly the thin blue line colors on my truck doors, back window and trailer hitch guard. I am SO PROUD of the men and women in blue and SO THANKFUL for your dedication and fearlessness to protect all of us! There are SO MANY MORE that believe in you all that don't!!! YOU ARE LOVED!!! Keep up the good work and know there are those of us out here that if we see you in distress WE will come to action and help defend you.
God Bless!
I am a firefighter that depends upon and works beside police every day. In my experience (on and off duty) the police conduct themselves with honor and dignity in a time where everyone despises them. They fund your kids tee ball teams, they donate money to literally thousands of causes and most importantly, they donate their time to the community and to make the places they work and live safer for EVERYONE. Without our support, they are being crippled and exposed. Thank a cop, they deserve it.
Thank you for putting your lives on the line for us a daily!!! If not for the men and women in blue we would have pure chaos and anarchy. It saddens and angers me to see what’s happening to officers.

My 8 year old son who became violently aggressive, to my husband who had a cornea transplant. Also to me which I didn’t think he would do and I have MS, I called the police for help cause he kicked me in my face. He obviously was suffering from side effects from his medication from his adhd. Police were so kind hearted to him and not at all rude to anyone one even the paramedics where awesome. I deal (no crime) with police in every state without any issues. This is why I will always RESPECT all in BLUE!!
My family will ALWAYS support our police. My son (4 years old) has made "thank you" cards and hands them out whenever we can to thank these brave men and women who put on a uniform every day. Thank you for protecting us and being there when we need you most.
Dalton police dept came to my home because of a domestic violence issue and they were very professional and aided me and my family we are now very happy and will always defend our local police may god bless them

When I was a daisy in Girl Scouts I went to my local police station and got a tour and they took a picture with me and my troop. It was really fun!
Officers are my friends and my family. Thank you for your sacrifice. I hope to support you.

We do need police, law and order. This is America, not a communist country, if someone wants to live in a communist country, go to North Korea.
Please let me know how I can help.
I am the president of Local 504. Worcester Police Officials International Brotherhood of Police Officers. Thank you for your support. If we can collaborate on anything please reach out. It would be a pleasure to meet or speak with you.
A couple of years ago one of my daughters received a telephone call from someone stating that they had kidnapped her brother. The caller gave info that was extremely realistic right down to where my son was in the last hour at an appointment! I had her keep the caller on the line and contacted the police, within minutes a detective called me to get information and to give me directions on what to do. Unfortunately my son was not answering his cellphone, and this panicked us. The WPD was helpful in finding out this was a scam for money and assured us they would follow up on the phone number. We could have just been told it’s probably a hoax and call back if you don’t locate your son, but they didn’t!

In my experience all my life being a rape victim when I was 15 the police helped me without bias there was a man that was well known in our town and we'll light they believe me off the top they offered their help with counseling everything bringing me to the hospital and As I Grew when I was pulled over for something I did and I had a legitimate excuse like my girlfriend was in the hospital and I was going 20 miles over the speed limit the officer understood cited me for following too closely but then gave me an escort to the hospital where she was both these officers were good people I was married to a police officer once and it didn't work out well but he was a stand-up man and a stand-up father and husband I've had a lot of friends that are police officers there are some bad apples but there's bad apples in every Walk of Life but they are here the good ones are here to defend our rights they are here to help us they are here to keep us in check when they do their job correctly we sh
Fortunately my experiences with the police have been minor. Since seeing how the events that have unfolded in major cities since the unfortunate incident in Minneapolis and the call for defunding the police I was relieved to see this sign. As one of the silent and law abiding citizens I felt compelled to add my voice. Anyone with good conscience and common sense knows any civilization needs laws and that laws need to be enforced. The only ones that benefit from defunded police are criminals. It's hard to believe we have gotten to the point in our society were the mob and radical politicians are strong enough and threaten to tear down the walls of law and order to chaos and anarchy. In my opinion, our police should be properly supported and funded so they can do their job to serve and protect our communities.
